Welcome to Dimilix Week!This will be our fifth year of celebrating and creating for our favourite ship and we're so excited! Can you believe Dimitri and Felix have been married (in our hearts and now also possibly in Japanese video game Fire Emblem: Three Hopes) for so long.Don’t forget to save the date February 14 - 21, 2024. We'll be hosting something a little special for our reunion at dawn year, and we hope to see you there! 💙

What is a ship week?

A ship week is a celebration of a particular relationship within a fandom! Our goal is to create new fanworks, encourage people to get involved with the community and also meet their fellow fans, and maybe help someone discover a new ship to love!The focus of our ship week is Dimilix—the relationship between Dimitri Blaiddyd and Felix Fraldarius in all their appearances. This also means the focus is exclusively on their relationship only, with the exception of lavender/political marriages as canon to their paired ending in-game. Be creative, but as always please be respectful!

How can I participate?

Participating in a ship week is simple—show up to the party!You can do this in many ways, the first of which is to create. Fanworks come in many forms and mediums, and the possibilities are endless. Here's a few ideas:

  • fanfic

  • fanart

  • comics

  • fancams / videos

  • edits (sprites, screenshot compilations, etc)

  • headcanons

  • cosplay photos

  • fiber arts (embroidery, handmade plushies, etc)

  • recipes

  • … whatever dimilix has inspired in you to create!

You can create for one day only or every day, fill as many or as few prompts as you want—there’s no minimum requirement.A ship week is also for fun, so please don’t feel pressured that you have to create something. And don’t feel bad if you’re only here to enjoy the fanworks—participation is also showing your Dimilix love and appreciation! Cheer on creators by retweeting, leaving comments and kudos on fanworks you love, or simply hang out and chat with other fans. These are all things we encourage very much!

Dimilix Week 2024: Prompts

Prompts are to help inspire you! You can follow prompts as closely or as loosely as you wish—the only limit is your imagination. You can also combine prompts!And if you're unsure of what a prompt means, we invite you to interpret as you wish. (You can, of course, also ask us for clarification.)For our fifth year, we also have something special planned—each day you can stamp a stamp from a different artist in your Dimilix Week 2024 passport as you make the journey to Garreg Mach for that reunion at dawn! And prompts are not just creating new works, because we're also revisiting past faves and works you've made you're proud of to celebrate all these excellent years.

Whether it's for a past prompt, a snippet or doodle or rough sketch, a wildly non-traditional work you finally want to show, a comment spree on Dimilix works, or you want to drop some extra spicy meta—this is your day to do it! Let's celebrate and hold nothing back for the Dimilix party!!!!!

  • Optional: Add your fic to the Dimilix Week 2024 AO3 collection.

While the goal is to post fanworks on the day of the prompt they correspond with, we know that's not always possible. If you want to post your fanworks all at once, staggered throughout the week, or in any combination that works for you, please feel free to do so! The prompt dates are just ideals, not deadlines—there is no such thing as being late to this party.We plan to retweet all fanworks.
